The world so close together

Bucheon City, South Korea

The plan to visit AIINS World was made instantly on Friday. We decided to start on Saturday about 12:00 pm by friend’s car. We were all five people. Everything was according to the plan, but still there was some delay unforeseen. So I thought to call one of friends family to join together with us. Now we were 8 people together with two cars. After having a delicious lunch ( Kheer included ;) )at friend’s home, we started exactly 1.00 pm from Suwon.

AIINS World is located in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do. It was almost 70 km drive. The journey was tiring because the stupid GPS Navigator found the way through all the cities on the way. We reached there around 4:00 pm. The ticket was 8.5k won per person. We got into the place and wow what we see there all the masterpieces of the World together.
Here we go ….

Basilica of the Sacred Heard (Paris, France)
Cathedral of Chartres (Chartres, France)
Cathedral of Notre-Dame (Paris, France)
Palace of Versailles (Versailles, France)
Fountrainbleau (Southeast of Paris, France)
Schloss Belvedere (Vienna, Austria)
Tower of Pisa (Italy)

Milan Cathedral (Italy)
Neuschwanstein (Bayern, Germany)
Deir el-bahari Temple of Hatshepsut(Deir el-bahari, Egypt)
The Capitol (Washington DC, USA)
White House (Washington DC, USA)
Taj Mahal – The symbol of love (India)
Empire State Building, WTC, Grand Cenctral Station, Petronas Tower all together

The place was good. The detail look requires 2-3 hrs. There was a acrobat show for 30 minites. The jokers are very funny. There is a 3D theater where you can watch ‘Dinky’ – The story of a dinasaur for 15 minutes in 4k won. Have fun….

Eastern beauty of Korea

Last Friday, we (with my friend) were just discussing where to spend this weekend. It’s Autumn time here. The beauty of Autumn can be most enjoyed near to the mountains where the trees and bushes change their color from green to red, yellow, orange or so many other bright shades. There are many mountains on the Eastern coast of South Korea. Thus, we decided “Let’s go to East”.

We thought we would start at 7:30 am Saturday to avoid the traffic and frustration as well. We (my friend, his wife and their little kid) somehow made it to start at 9:00 am as it was holiday mood. The “Avante” started cruising on National highway 42 (E) going to Ichon. As we expected, the traffic was heavy on 42 and we spent more than 2 hours just to finish 60-70 km.

After Ichon, the drive was smooth. My aficionado friend was enjoying the driving. We crossed Wonju. By this time, it was already 1.00 pm. We were hungry, but we were not finding good restaurant. After Wonju, the nature has already changed the colors and the mountains were passing by. We lost our hunger due to nature.

We continued to Pyeongchang and it was already 3:00 pm. In Pyeongchang, We found a Chinese restaurant. You know what I found JajangBap over there. It was already been more than a year when I last time had it in Oakland, CA. There was not much time to think for the menu, we ordered JajangBap(Rice with Jajang sauce) and BokkamBap(Fried rice). We decided to reach Samcheok by 5:00 pm and we started. The road was passing by and through so many mountains. I was totally mesmerized by the nature. There were so many tunnels on the way.

At one point NH 42 ended and we continued on NH 7 going to our destination. We reached around 5:30pm. As we were passing by a main road, we show the hoarding of Samcheok Beach, we immediately turned that side and what? Within a 500 m, we saw the sea roaring and we were just staring to the sea as it was sudden, and after such a long 7 hrs journey. We were over joyed. The feeling was super.

We stayed in the hotel on this beach and that is even sea facing room. We went into the city and searching for good restaurants. After a more than 1 hr of search, we zeroed into a restaurant where we found fried chicken. We stuffed ourselves and went back to hotel and slept.

The next day morning was awesome. When I got up, I saw the Sun coming out behind the sea. It was refreshing moment. By the time I came out from hotel to see after the bathe, the Sun was already above the sea. I had a nice morning walk on this beautiful beach.

The return journey was more also much exciting and adventurous.
